What happened
Officina82 designed the TreeBox, a tiny cabin nestled in the woodlands near Garessio, Italy. This small timber retreat is intentionally minimal, focusing on basic comforts rather than modern conveniences. Raised on four stilts, the structure is influenced by traditional hay barns from the Italian Ligurian Alps, notably their movable roof feature.
The interior, covering just 12 square meters, contains a large bed that doubles as a lounging spot and includes a netted loft for reading or relaxing. Access to the cabin is via a hillside bridge that leads to an outdoor seating area. Despite the minimalist setup, the accommodation is part of a larger rental complex that offers additional unique shelter options.
