Archana Stalin, a geoinformatics engineer from Chennai, transitioned from a corporate career to farming after years of experimenting with terrace gardens in urban homes. Seeing the challenges city dwellers faced in growing fresh food and the lack of direct market access for rural farmers, she founded myHarvest Farms in 2018 with her husband Stalin Kalidoss. This farm-to-home platform started by connecting 18 urban families to a single leased village farm but has since grown substantially.
Today, myHarvest supports more than 300 farmers and supplies fresh, organic produce and traditional staples to over 15,000 families.
