What happened
Zook Cabins has designed a unique tiny house model called the A-Frame Studio that reinterprets the classic A-frame cabin style with a modern twist. Unlike typical rustic cabins, this 32-foot-long and 13.6-foot-wide home features a black metal exterior with wooden accents, standing out from the traditional wood-heavy designs.
The interior has been planned for comfort and practicality, with a large open living area, king-size bed, and plenty of storage. The floor plan maximizes usable space by incorporating straight walls instead of typical angled walls inside A-frame structures, making furniture placement easier and contributing to a studio apartment-like feel.
Why it feels good
The A-Frame Studio offers a surprising level of luxury for a tiny home, especially in its bathroom design. Featuring both a glass-enclosed shower and a freestanding tub, it elevates the living experience beyond what is usually possible in such compact spaces. This addition brings a sense of indulgence and relaxation, which is rare among tiny houses.
Natural light floods the living space through a large picture window at the front, creating an airy and welcoming atmosphere. The light birch ply and shiplap decor combined with vinyl floors also lend a clean, bright ambiance that contrasts nicely with the dark exterior, making the interior feel fresh and modern.
